International PRECIS is, since 1990, affiliated with the international trade organisation ICCO, The International Communications Consultancy Organisation The ICCO is the voice of public relations consultancies across the world. It is the umbrella association for more than 1000 consultancies through their trade associations in 24 countries in Europe, the Middle-East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas. Altogether, the associations that make up the ICCO employ over 25,000 people. ICCO's 20 full member countries have a formal trade association of PR consultancies. It also has four observer members where the local industry is moving towards establishing a formal association.
